Meet Jenny Johanne Panzer, an Administration Coordinator and Sales & Marketing intern whose adventurous spirit shapes her professional journey at VARD.

Passion for skiing
Jenny, originally from Nøtterøy outside of Oslo, moved to Ålesund to study economics and administration. Mostly because of her passion for skiing, preferably down steep mountainsides.
– Just before Easter last year, I was contacted by VARD through a recruiter on LinkedIn regarding a job opportunity. I immediately knew I wanted to give it a try, Jenny explains.
As a student at NTNU, she had already stepped into the role of Head of Næringslivsutvalget, a volunteer student organization. This position not only ensured valuable experience but also provided a relevant network in the local business world. Still, she was excited to see if she could handle the new challenges in VARD.
Diving headfirst into new experiences
– It’s been beyond amazing so far. The tasks and responsibilities are challenging at times, but I enjoy every moment of it, says Jenny.
For her, the decision to join VARD was not just about professional growth – it was another personal adventure. Her adventurous personality isn’t restricted to climbing mountains – it influences every aspect of her life, shaping her approach to life.
I’m not afraid to dive headfirst into new experiences. Whether it’s navigating steep slopes or handling new challenges at work, I like the thrill of pushing my limits. The feeling when you succeed always makes it worth it.

– Yes, tomorrow is Monday
At VARD Jenny has become a valuable colleague in the Sales Department. She enjoys the social and vibrant atmosphere and is not planning to move back to Oslo anytime soon.
– On Sundays, I can’t wait to get back to the office. I often say “Yes, tomorrow is Monday”. But don’t get me wrong, I love weekends too, Jenny laughs.
Jenny is clear about what inspires her in VARD.
– What inspires me the most is the people. I’m so impressed with everything my colleagues achieve. I've played soccer all my life, and the team spirit has always resonated with me, she explains.
We're in it together
– Whether it's on the field or at work, the essence remains the same: We're in it together. We celebrate victories as a team and strive towards common goals.
Jenny still isn’t sure what she wants to do in her professional life, but she knows the opportunities in VARD provide room for growth.
– If I do a good job here, I know more opportunities will come my way. I see the possibilities here as endless, Jenny says.
