We are VARD’s central unit for training and competence development.
Four main programs
Our people and their skills are at the core of our success. We understand the importance of continuous education and we strive to give you the chance to learn and further develop your career.
Our offer includes competence, safety and leadership programs for VARD employees, and tailor-made programs for VARD customers.
Competence Program
Our Competence Program is aimed at developing our people's soft and technical skills, and at communicating company guidelines to VARD employees.
The program includes training in areas related to company guidelines, best practices, technical skills and core competencies.
Leadership Program
Our Leadership Program includes structured institutional programs that enable our leaders to develop their skills and unleash their potential.
The program is offered in collaboration with Fincantieri and includes development programs targeted at strengthening the competencies of young talents, middle and senior management.
Safety Program
Our Safety Program supports VARD’s Vision Zero by offering courses that give our employees the skills they need to stay safe at sea and on shore. Organized in cooperation with local sites, our courses help create and maintain HSE awareness across the business.
The program includes training in HSE guidelines, HSE best practices, on the correct use of equipment and certifications required by the Norwegian law.
Product Program
Our Product Program combines theoretical and hands-on practical training to help you make the most out of VARD’s SeaQ products and technical solutions. All courses are customized to fit your needs.
Organized in cooperation with Vard Electro, this program targets VARD’s customers as well as VARD employees.
